Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with multiple gingival recessions that required connective tissue graft for root coverage, with the need of two donor area in the palate because of the extension of the receptor area; Good systemic health (ASA I); The sample unit will be the number of donor areas evaluated.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active periodontal disease; Periodontal pockets or recessions in the palatal area greater than 5 mm; History of collagen hypersensitivity; Use of a removable partial prosthesis or mucosal-borne orthodontic devices in the maxilla; History of surgery on the palate; Use of medication that affects the periodontal tissues, such as cyclosporin A, phenytoin and calcium channel blockers; Smoking habits; Alcohol drinkers; Pregnancy and lactating

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The difference in the palatal thickness at the surgery site between the baseline and 12 months of evaluation in the test and control group, measured in millimeters by cone beam computed tomography.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The difference in the palatal thickness at the surgery site between the baseline and 12 months of evaluation regarding the distance to the gingival margin, measured in millimeters by cone beam computed tomography.
