Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age equal to or over 18 years old; gingival bleeding within ten seconds after removing the probe from the gingival sulcus; presence of dental biofilm; tooth loss due to extraction for orthodontic treatment; both sexes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Smokers; alcoholics; diabetes mellitus; allergic to one of the study substances; use of orthodontic appliances; use of mouthwash or antimicrobial substance for at least two weeks before the start of the study
