Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
In the first article on quality of life and intensity of low back pain, the expected result was changes in the quality of life of pregnant women measured by the SF-36 questionnaire; The result found that an improvement in the quality of life of pregnant women was observed; In the second article, a study on maternal-fetal hemodynamics, the expected result is to evaluate the hemodynamic effects of osteopathic manipulation treatment on the mean arterial pressure of pregnant women through the use of a blood pressure device;Outcome one found a statistically significant improvement in diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in the sitting position; The result found two: observed that there was a statistically significant improvement in systolic blood pressure in the supine position; The outcome found three observed that was a statistically significant improvement in heart rate in the left lateral decubitus; The third study that has yet to be written is a prospective study, without sample size calculation, and the expected outcome is to assess whether there were better results in the vital signs of pregnant women followed at the prenatal clinic after osteopathic manipulative treatment concerning pregnant women who did not have the treatment. osteopathic

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
In the first article, the first expected outcome measured by the VAS scale was changes in lower back pain in pregnant women; In the first article, the first result found an improvement in the low back pain of pregnant women; In the first article, the expected result two measured by the VAS scale was changes in the pelvic pain of pregnant women; In the first article, result two observed an improvement in the intensity of pelvic pain in pregnant women; The expected result was to compare the effects of osteopathic manipulation treatment on maternal-fetal vascularization assessed by Doppler velocimetry; The outcome found confirmed the maintenance of normal standards of maternal-fetal circulation and the safety of osteopathic manipulative treatment for the fetus
