30 participants will be randomized by random drawing via the REDCap program and will include 2 groups: the GWP (Whey Protein Group) composed of 15 women who will receive daily supplementation of 30g o

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women; aged >=18 years; diagnosed with invasive breast carcinoma stages I to III; already initiated neoadjuvant or adjuvant systemic chemotherapy treatment; Body Mass Index (BMI) >=30kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women diagnosed with associated metastasis; severe obesity (BMI >=40kg/m2); allergy to milk proteins; conditions that affect body water composition such as edema; conditions that affect muscle mass such as muscular dystrophy; limb amputation; pregnancy; use of pacemaker

It is expected to verify the positive impact of the use of nutritional supplementation with whey protein isolate supplementation on the body composition of the participants through the tests applied (anthropometric assessment, bioimpedance, dynamometry), showing improvements in the quantity and quality of body muscles, as well as in the parameter of muscle strength and control of the side effects of the treatment.
