Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Brazilians pregnant woman between 18 and 45 years, having prenatal consults in Complexo do Hospital de Clínicas da Universidade Federal do Paraná, by any indication, between 18 and 24 weeks of gestational age.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients that refuse to participate of the study or that are not able to answer the questionnaires 40-60 days after delivery, or that refuse collecting a blood sample to evaluate serum levels of estradiol and progesterone or patients in drug treatment fot any type of mood disorder.

| To demonstrate the accuracy in the use of the screening tools to mood disorders in a population of high risk pregnancy - EPDS (Edimburg Postnatal Depression Scale) and MDQ simplified (mood Disorder Questionnaire simplified) - associated, in pregnancy and puerperium;To calculate the sensibility, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the mood disorders screening tools (Edimburg Postnatal Depression Scale and Mood Disorder Questionnaire simplified) for major depression and bipolar disorder in the Maternity of UFPR Clinics Hospital;To demonstrate the presence of the mostly common risk factors for major depression and bipolar disorder in the interviewed patients, in pregnancy and puerperium;To demonstrate the diferences in serical levels of estradiol and progesterone in pregnancy and puerperium, comparing them with the screening results and psychiatry diagnosis | — |
