Age
18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: be over 18 years old; being on hemodialysis for at least three months at the clinic, performing the procedure three times a week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not agree to participate in the study; those with acute renal disease; patients who find it difficult to understand the issues of the instruments; patients who do not carry out routine hemodialysis follow-up at the reference center (they are hemodialising eventually due to displacement or other need) and patients who do not present stable clinical conditions.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Stress. Will be measured quantitatively by varying the salivary cortisol concentration before and after the intervention period (nmol/L).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Anxiety and Depression. Evaluated by scores obtained on the Hamilton Anxiety Scales and Beck Depression Inventory.;Quality of life. Evaluated through scores obtained in the KDQOL-SF questionnaire dimensions.;Number of intercurrences recorded during and procedure and values ??of laboratory tests of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, hematocrit and hemoglobin.
