There will be 108 restorations (36 in the control group, 36 in the intervention group with adhesive and 36 in the intervention group without adhesive previously) in primary molars in municipal schools

Eligibility

Age
4 Years to 9 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteer children; Both genders; Duly enrolled in municipal or state schools; With an acceptable oral hygiene level; With a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 9 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who do not accept oral examination or restoration; Those that are missing on the scheduled restoration day; Those whose managers do not sign the Free and Informed Consent Form; Teeth with very deep carious lesions; Fistulated teeth; With such spontaneous pain.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Retention of restorations in the long-term cavities. This number will be obtained through scores attributed to restorations in their evaluations (scores 0 and 1 will be considered success, scores 2 to 6 fail and scores 7, 8 and 9 will be excluded from the sample). The values will be transformed into percentages represented in graphs.Evaluations will be done every 6 months, 1 year, 2 and 3 years.
