1 Days to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents diagnosed with congenital heart disease; of both sexes; aged between the first day of life and 17 years, 11 months and 29 days; who do not use a cardiac pacemaker; and with acceptance of the consent form by the child's legal guardians, and the assent form by the child over 2 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability to remain with the polar capture device for a specified period of time

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in heart rate variability indices is expected after pediatric cardiac surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in sympathetic system indices and reduction in parasympathetic system indices during extubation, physiotherapeutic care, and procedures.
