Conditions

Cerebral Palsy

Interventions

Ten (10) children classified with levels between III and V by the Gross Motor Function Classification System (Palisano et al., 2007), will be selected and invited to participate in the study. After si
finally, the TherTtogs garments will be removed and the child will be once again evaluated (3rd evaluation: without TheraTogs) by the same scale.

Eligibility

Age
2 Years to 15 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with Cerebral Palsy; aged 2 to 15 years; with unstable trunk control; classified with GMFCS as levels III, IV and V

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who present stable trunk control at the initial assessment, without using TheraTogs garments; children who do not collaborate with the clinical test using the SATCo scale to assess trunk control; children who do not agree to put on and / or remain with the TheraTogs orthotic garments for 50 minutes; children who have allergies or any type of reaction to contact with the material of the garment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find improvement in static stability, anticipatory dynamics and reactive trunk dynamics, assessed by the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo), of children with Cerebral Palsy during the use of TheraTogs garments.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find improvement in static stability, anticipatory dynamics and reactive trunk dynamics, assessed by the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo), of children with Cerebral Palsy after 40 minutes of wearing TheraTogs garments. ;It will allow us to check whether children with Cerebral Palsy classified with GMFCS levels III, IV or V respond differently to the use of TheraTogs garments.
