Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both genders; between 18 and 80 years of age; with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (exacerbating profile or not); clinically stable
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with bullous disease that has been removed by bullectomy; patients in a severe clinical condition; patients on mechanical ventilation
