| Primary outcome expected: reduction of blood pressure after an aquatic exercise session at levels below that found during gauging during rest. Method to check the expected outcome: Blood pressure drop was checked by means of an automatic blood pressure monitor immediately after exercise, at 15-minute intervals, for 60 minutes. The presence of post-exercise hypotension was verified when the values found after exercise were lower than when measured at rest. Data on the outcome: post-exercise hypotension was verified at all time points (15, 30, 45, 60 minutes) post-exercise. ;Primary outcome observed: reduction of blood pressure at all times of assessment after the intense interval water exercise session compared to the moment of rest. Method to check the expected outcome: Blood pressure drop was checked by means of an automatic blood pressure monitor immediately after exercise, at 15-minute intervals, for 60 minutes. Data on the outcome: After the data collection (experimental session and control) the data were analyzed by means of a two-way ANOVA. Rest (132.8 ± 16.0 mmHg) after 15 minutes (118.6 ± 17.0 mmHg) after 30 minutes (118.0 ± 15.7 mmHg) after 45 minutes (115.0 ± 16.6 mmHg) and after 60 minutes (118.9 ± 18.4 mmHg). | — |
