Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the cost of materials used in restorative procedures comparing the use of papacharis and drill. Primary outcome was to know if papacarie would be more economical than the drill. The average cost of materials spent on restoration with papacarie and with drill was made, using local anesthesia or not. The results of values ??in reais show the economy of 42.39%, this implies an efficiency increase of 7.30%. Economics of a restoration with papacharie gel would be 58% when related to the cost of a traditional procedure (drills) requiring the use of local anesthesia. It has been found that papacarie has a lower cost than the drill bit for each restorative procedure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Check the average time of consultation and number of restorations performed with papacarie and drill. Expected outcome would be for the papacharie group to perform more restorations in a shorter consultation time. The consultation time and number of restorations performed for each group, drill or papaya were recorded. The finding was not significant, finding the collaboration variable of pediatric dentistry patients.
