Interventions

The study will be a randomized clinical trial of the parallel type, and the participants will be randomly allocated by simple randomization into 2 groups: 25 participants in the Orthodontic Aligners g
sleep and wakefulness bruxism behavior
child and caregiver anxiety
child stress
quality of life related to oral health
color stability of aligners
dimensional stability of attachments and complications

Eligibility

Age
7 Years to 10 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients in mixed dentition; 7 to 10 years old; both genders; with Angle Class I malocclusion; erupted permanent upper and lower incisors; and unilateral or bilateral posterior crossbite

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with craniofacial deformities; absence of permanent teeth; presence of anterior open bite; and previous orthodontic treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to achieve correction of the posterior crossbite in the different treatment groups, assessed through the analysis of scanned models and cone beam computed tomography scans, taken at baseline and at the end of treatment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a similarity in the changes of the maxillary and mandibular arches in the different treatment groups evaluated through the analysis of scanned models and cone beam computed tomography scans, taken at baseline and at the end of treatment
