Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Low back pain for three months or more; Age 18-80 years; Low back pain with intensity equal to or greater than three on the numerical pain scale

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Infection, fracture and previous surgery on the lumbar spine; Cauda equina syndrome; Pregnancy; Neuropathy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a reduction in the intensity of low back pain at rest, verified by the Numerical Pain Scale instrument, from the finding of a reduction of at least one point three (1,3) in this scale, in the pre and post intervention measurements

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an increase in the pressure pain threshold measured by algometry in the pre and post intervention measurements; It is expected to find, after intervention, the absence of temporal summation measured by algometry; It is expected to find a reduction in the time in seconds to perform lumbar flexion measured by the repeated lumbar flexion test in the pre and post intervention measurements; It is expected to find a reduction in the time in seconds to perform the sit and stand activity in the pre and post intervention measurements
