Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: aged 60 and older; physically inactive (structured exercise classes in the last 6 months); absence of clinical conditions or unstable disease that contraindicates supervised exercise based on medical judgment (cardiologist) during the health screening visit; no previously diagnosed cerebrovascular, neurological or psychiatric disease; have sufficient visual and hearing capacity to complete cognitive assessment protocol; not being under the use of hormone replacement therapy (women).

| Improvements of functional performance and muscle strength from changes in scores, distance (meters), time (seconds) and percentages (%) in the following tests, respectively. Short physical performance battery; Six-minute walk test (meters); time up & go (seconds); 1-RM (%). This information will be computed before and after 12-weeks of intervention.;Changes in the scores of neurocognitive tests related to each cognitive domain. Global, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA); Executive functions, stroop test, trail making test part A & B, digit span backward & forward and verbal fluency (animal and naming). This information will be computed before and after 12-weeks of intervention.;Changes in the gait and amplitude of the center of mass (cm) obtained by a force platform. This information will be computed before and after 12-weeks of intervention.;Percentual (%) changes in the fat and muscle mass, and quadriceps cross-sectional area obtained by DXA and CT-scan.
