Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals over the age of 18; Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than or equal to 24.99 kg/m²; both sexes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than or equal to 24.99 kg/m²; significant weight variation (more than 10%) in the last 3 months; use of anti-inflammatory medications; pregnancy or breastfeeding; allergies or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the interventions; smoking; alcoholism; intense physical activity

MeasureTime frame
To assess body composition using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) computed densitometry at baseline and 30 days after consuming each intervention (yerba mate extract and placebo)
