Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both genders; aged between 18 and 35 years; who do not present Local or Systemic Pathologies; having impacted lower third molars that require Osteotomy and/or Odontosection
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who are allergic to the medications used in the study; individuals who were not interested in participating in the research; diagnosis of Cardiac Diseases

| Expected outcome 1: An improvement is expected in the postoperative period of patients who received antibiotic therapy before third molar surgery, as assessed by pain measurements and the presence of infection, with at least a 5% variation for the test groups. Data collected on the day of the intervention and at different periods after the intervention.;Outcome found 1: It was observed that the groups in which antibiotics were administered postoperatively, both with and without preoperative administration, obtained the best values for pain and presence of infection, with a 25% lower infection rate compared to the placebo (control) group and 20% lower pain perception in the first 6 hours postoperatively. | — |
