Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to see significant inter-group differences in the pre- and post-intervention measurements regarding the effectiveness of the orienteering modality in comparison to the hiking modality. These differences between the two modalities will be evidenced mainly by the possible significant changes in favor of the orientation modality in the effect variables. The most important variables for the study are listed: Capacity to move through the TUG test taking into account the following parameters, duration of the test (seconds); cadence (steps / min); speed (m / s); stride length (m); duration of the complete walking cycle duration of the support and balance phases and duration of the double and single support phases (min / sec). Double task mobility capacity verified by the double task TUG test which in addition to these same locomotive parameters mentioned in the TUG will also include: the time spent on the task (s) (double task), the number of cognitive errors ( n), the number of cognitive stops (n), the number of motor stops (n) and the final number evoked (n); the aerobic resistance 6 min walk test by the parameters: cadence (CD), average speed (VM), stride length (CP) and the total distance covered (DT). It is also expected to see significant changes in the modalities of orienteering and hiking intra-group in these same effect variables in the pre- and post-intervention period.;At the cognitive level, the possible significant inter-group and intra-group changes will be considered in the pre and post-intervention measurements of the cognitive effect variables by the parameters of the attention function, visuospatial skills, executive functions, reaction speed and memory that will be measured through the application of neuropsychological instruments: Clock Drawing Test (TDR), Trail Making Test-B (TMTb), Sub-Test Go / No-go of the Frontal Assessment Battery (FAB), and Verbal Fluency (FAS) that are directed for attention, visuospatial ability and executive fun

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To verify the effectiveness through the possible significant changes in the pre and post-intervention measurements of the orienteering modality in comparison to the hiking modality by the parameters referring to the level of physical activity (METmin / wk) through the IPAQ for the elderly, by the anthropometric changes a BMI level, waist circumference (cm), mesofemural circumference (cm), calf circumference (cm), number of falls (n), the score of depressive symptoms (EDG - 15) and the cognitive assessment for the possible change in score in the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). Also check the effectiveness of both modalities of orienteering and hiking on these same variables.
