Age
25 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants of both sexes, men and women; aged between 25 and 70 years; with a diagnosis of chronic lateral epicondyle tendinopathy lasting three months or more; willing to participate in the research by signing the Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded from the study if they miss more than 20% of the intervention sessions; are unable to comply with the treatment protocol; use medication for the condition during the study period, including analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or muscle relaxants; undergo any other concomitant treatment for the studied condition

It is expected to observe differences in the thermographic pattern of the elbow between the Deep Transverse Massage Group and the Photobiomodulation Group, assessed by maximum, mean, and minimum temperatures in the regions of interest of the lateral epicondyle and dorsal aspect of the elbow using a T360 thermographic camera from FLIR Systems, Sweden, analyzed with FLIR Ignite software, with data collected at baseline, immediately after the first experimental session, before the sixth experimental session, immediately after the sixth experimental session, immediately after the last experimental session, and ten days after the last experimental session

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe a reduction in pain intensity, assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale from zero to ten, where zero indicates no pain and ten indicates the worst pain, with data collected at baseline and ten days after the last experimental session;It is expected to observe an increase in wrist extensor strength, assessed using a Lafayette Hand Held Dynamometer in maximum isometric force measurements, with data collected at baseline and ten days after the last experimental session;It is expected to observe an improvement in elbow functionality, assessed using the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand questionnaire, considering total score and specific items related to daily activities, with data collected at baseline and ten days after the last experimental session
