Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy participants; right-handed; both genders; age between 18 and 60 years; normal or corrected vision

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: participants using drugs that alter the central nervous system; participants diagnosed with mental disorders; left-handers; participants who have a phobia of snakes, spiders, dark or natural disasters

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A statistically significant difference in the hemodynamic activation curve of the region of interest (orbitofrontal cortex) after a neurofeedback training session. This will be observed using bootstrap, comparing the mean hemodynamic activation during each condition between the two groups. It is expected to observe a significant difference (p-value less than 0.05) between groups, and a difference in activation between the training and test block within each group

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the experimental group will be the one that had a greater hemodynamic activity during the task in the orbitofrontal cortex, as it is a region with an affective control function and it was recruited when the group received real feedback. This will be seen by the summation of the difference between the average region of interest hemodynamic activation curves between groups. A value greater than 0 is expected to be observed when we calculate the difference between group 1 minus group 2
