Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| We hope to find improvement of the peripheral muscle tissue oxygenation in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis who underwent the home physical exercise prescription program in the pre and post-intervention measurements by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS)during Incremental Shuttle walking test (ISWT) for improving the concentrations of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2), deoxyhemoglobin (HHb) and tissue oxygen saturation (StO2).;It is hoped to find an improvement in physical fitness in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis who underwent the home physical exercise prescription program, in the pre and post-intervention measurements in the Incremental Shuttle walking test (ISWT) by the improvement of heart rate (HR), oxygen saturation (SpO2), blood pressure (BP), respiratory rate (fr), Borg scale, distance walked and test speed. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| An association between the behavior of peripheral muscle tissue oxygenation and cardiorespiratory performance in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis is expected before and after a home physical exercise prescription program by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) and Incremental Shuttle walking test (ISWT). | — |
