Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1: Higher increase in heart rate, oxygen saturation and systolic and diastolic blood pressure measured in the three different moments (preoperative, trans operative and postoperative) for the hypertensive patients. The Mann-Whitney test will be used to identify differences between the experimental and control groups. For the intra group assesment of repeated measures (initial, trans and final), the Friedman test with the adjusted Wilcoxon test will be used. P value inferior to 0,05 will be considered statistically significant.;Expected outcome 2: Higher increase in serum cathecolamines concentration (dopamine, norepinefrin and apinefrin) measured in the three different moments (preoperative, trans operative and postoperative) for the hypertensive patients. The Mann-Whitney test will be used to identify differences between the experimental and control groups. For the intra group assesment of repeated measures (initial, trans and final), the Friedman test with the adjusted Wilcoxon test will be used. P value inferior to 0,05 will be considered statistically significant.;Expected outcome 3: Higher increase in ventricular and supraventricular extrasystoles and in ST segment depression frequencies measured in three different moments (preoperative, trans operative and postoperative) with the Holter device The Mann-Whitney test will be used to identify differences between the experimental and control groups. For the intra group assesment of repeated measures (initial, trans and final), the Friedman test with the adjusted Wilcoxon test will be used. P value inferior to 0,05 will be considered statistically significant. | — |
