Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Absence of any history of congenital; cardiorespiratory; musculoskeletal; rheumatic and neurological disease,; as well as auditory and visual deficits; Absence of history of preterm birth; low birth weight and / or need for invasive mechanical ventilation in the neonatal period; Absence of acute respiratory disease on the day of the test;Satisfaction assessment by the questionnaire on asthma and allergies in childhood (International Study and Allergies in Childhood - ISAAC);Adequacy in the delivery of the informed consent term (TCLE) by the person responsible and the consent term for the minor.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability to perform adequately any of the proposed evaluation procedures; modified pulmonary function test with values of forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FVC) below 80% predicted by Polgar and Weng (1979) and FEV1 / FVC ratio less than 70% predicted. Claustrophobia on entering the plethysmographic booth.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
AX increase when SB was the 1st TBT used, and Z, R5 and Fres (p = 0.038) and increase also when SB is the third TBT. PB analysis showed an increase of R5 when PB was the 1st TBT. As for the 3rd TBT, PB showed increase of Z, Fres and AX, as well as decrease of R5.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The elaboration of reference equations for each of the parameters of the plethysmography exam performed by healthy schoolchildren.;to verify the immediatly repercussion on the pulmonary function of therapeutic toys in schoolchildren
