Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate which intensity of aerobic exercise is most effective in reducing the level of state anxiety. The primary outcome will be measured by a questionnaire translated and validated into Portuguese. It is expected that moderate-intensity aerobic exercise will be more effective in reducing the level of state anxiety compared to light and vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise sessions.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assess the level of affectivity of aerobic exercise performed at different intensities (light, moderate and vigorous). This outcome will be measured by a questionnaire translated and validated into Portuguese. It is expected that moderate-intensity aerobic exercise will present a higher level of affectivity compared to light and vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise sessions.;Assess the level of enjoyment of aerobic exercise performed at different intensities (light, moderate and vigorous). This outcome will be measured by a questionnaire translated and validated into Portuguese. It is expected that moderate-intensity aerobic exercise will present a higher level of enjoyment compared to light and vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise sessions.;Assess the level of possibility of future engagement in aerobic exercise performed at different intensities (light, moderate and vigorous). This outcome will be measured by a validated and adapted scale. It is expected that moderate-intensity aerobic exercise will present a greater possibility of future engagement compared to light and vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise sessions.
