This is a randomized, crossover clinical study with two arms, in which 30 participants of both sexes, aged 18 to 40, will be selected to receive transcutaneous auricular stimulation through an electro
SEQ2 = D-A-B-C
SEQ3 = C-D-A-B and SEQ4 = B-C-D-A). A randomization will also be generated for the laterality of the ear that will receive the intervention (right or left). On the second visit, at intervals of 2 to 5

Age
18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; non-smokers; aged between 18 and 40 years; able to read and write Brazilian Portuguese sufficiently to complete the data collection instruments

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers who smoke; history of alcohol or drug abuse; diagnoses of heart disease, hypertension, suspected or confirmed pregnancy, cognitive changes that make it impossible to collaborate in the intervention and data collection, injuries to the auricle or absence of the auricle

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be the changes in Heart Rate Variability, imposed by the different frequencies and laterality of the transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
As a secondary outcome, changes in heart rate and stimulus perception will be investigated, both imposed by the different frequencies and laterality of transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve.
