Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Being enrolled at the Federal Institute of Piauí, Picos Campus. Being between 13 and 18 years old. Being sedentary or irregularly active. Submitting the signed assent and consent forms

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who have medical conditions that contraindicate exercise, who start any exercise alongside the intervention, and who have an attendance rate of less than 70% in FitDance sessions (intervention group)

MeasureTime frame
The 12-week FitDance® intervention is expected to produce measurable positive effects on the quality of life of adolescent girls, reflecting improvements in scores on the dimensions assessed by the PedsQL 4.0. Reductions in levels of depression, anxiety, and stress as measured by the DASS-21 are also expected, indicating a positive impact on the mental health of participants in the intervention group when compared to the control group
