Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the effectiveness in incorporating knowledge and improving patients' oral hygiene after using different information and communication technologies applied to dentistry, based on the percentage reduction in the O'Leary dental biofilm index.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Identify the sociodemographic profile of study participants using the questionnaire as a collection instrument and correlate the variables collected. It is expected to cross sociodemographic information with the other outcomes collected in the study;Compare patients' knowledge regarding oral hygiene, before and after using the proposed methodologies. It is expected to identify increased patient knowledge regarding oral hygiene, after the use of different information and communication technologies applied to dentistry, verified through the oral health knowledge questionnaire.;Identify participants’ eating habits. It is expected to identify improvements in participants' eating habits through the use of food frequency questionnaires in order to verify whether the proposed methodologies are influencing patients' eating habits.;Know the oral hygiene habits prior to carrying out the study, as well as the presence of habits harmful to oral health. It is expected to identify improvements in oral hygiene habits, as well as the presence of habits that are harmful to oral health, verified through the use of the collection instrument 5, and questionnaires in order to verify whether the proposed methodologies are controlling the presence of these habits.;Identify the presence and severity of oral discomfort and Temporomandibular Dysfunction (TMD). It is expected to identify the presence and severity of oral discomfort and TMD through the Research Dental Criteria (RDC) oral habits questionnaire, in order to verify whether the proposed methodologies are altering the degree of discomfort and TMD.;Identify the presence and severity of tooth wear. It is expected to identify the control of tooth wear through clinical evaluation and classification according to the tooth wear assessment questionnaire based on the Tooth Wear Index (TWI) in order to verify whether there was stability of the tooth wear previously present after the proposed guidelines.;Carry out an epidemiological survey of
