Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals who have dorsiflexion values in a closed kinetic chain below 40 degress in the Lunge Test.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: presenting musculoskeletal injury in the lower limb; rheumatic diseases; cardiovascular diseases; or any other alteration that may harm volunteers health or that compromises the performance of the tests.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increased range of motion of ankle dorsiflexion in a closed kinetic chain, performed by the Lunge Test. An increase of at least 5 degrees will be considered and will be evaluated in three moments, being pre-treatment, immediate post-treatment and, after 3 days of treatment. The Articular Mobilization - Mulligan Concept + Articular Mobilization - Maitland Method group is expected to have a higher increase, as it is associated with the combination of the two mobilization techniques.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Difference in carrying out the Star Excursion Balance Test on the force platform. An improvement of at least 10% in the distance will be considered when compared between each measure and will be evaluated in three moments, being pre-treatment, immediate post-treatment and, after 3 days of treatment. It is believed that the Articular Mobilization - Mulligan Concept + Articular Mobilization - Maitland Method group presents a superior improvement for presenting a sum of results of the two techniques.;Difference in the performance of the Triple Hop Test, performed in 3 consecutive maximum jumps. An improvement of at least 10% in the distance will be considered when compared between each measure. It is believed that the Articular Mobilization - Mulligan Concept + Articular Mobilization - Maitland Method group presents a superior improvement for presenting a sum of results of the two techniques.;Increased range of motion of dorsiflexion in open kinetic chain performed by goniometry. An increase of at least 5 degrees will be considered and will be evaluated in three moments, being pre-treatment, immediate post-treatment and, after 3 days of treatment. It is believed that the Articular Mobilization - Mulligan Concept + Articular Mobilization - Maitland Method group presents a superior improvement for presenting a sum of results of the two techniques.;Patient satisfaction with the treatment that will be evaluated by the Medrisk satisfaction questionnaire after 3 days of treatment. It is believed that the Articular Mobilization - Mulligan Concept + Articular Mobilization - Maitland Method group presents a superior improvement for presenting a sum of results of the two techniques.
