Eligibility

Age

6 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescent who have a diagnostic of Autism Spectrum Disorder according to DMS-5; age between 6 and 12 year; inserted on regular school environment; have degrees of understanding and collaboration compatible with carrying out the proposed activities; score more than 30 on the CARS scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with epilepsy; metallic implant in the brain or hearing aids; sensory or motor deficiencies that limit the performance of the procedures proposed in this project.

Expected outcome 1: Outcome assessments will be carried out to investigate whether there has been a reduction in the severity of symptoms, decrease in maladaptive behaviors and improvement in Social Cognition. To this end, pre-intervention and post-intervention assessments will be performed. To asses behavior and adaptive functions scales Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS); Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) and Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) will be used, and for the assessment of Social Cognition NEPSY II – Subtest Social Cognition, will be used.	—
