This is a four-arm randomized controlled clinical trial, single blinded trial. A random number table will be generated through the RANDOM.ORG website to divide the 120 participants randomized into 4

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; age between 18 and 30 years; right motor preference

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of orthopedic pathologies; pain in upper limbs; fear of needles; pregnant women; women with delay in menstrual cycle longer than 28 days

Expected outcome 1: Verify the role of Acupuncture in modifying Handgrip Strength in healthy subjects with a Hand Dynamometer contralateral to Isometric Wrist Flexion Activity at 70% of Maximum Voluntary Isometric Capacity. Verify if Acupuncture modifies the Strength Irradiation Mechanism in healthy subjects with a Hand Dynamometer contralateral to the Isometric Wrist Flexion Activity at 70% of Maximum Voluntary Isometric Capacity.;Found outcome 1: A change in Handgrip Strength was observed after Acupuncture in healthy individuals with a Hand Dynamometer contralateral to Isometric Wrist Flexion Activity at 70% of Maximum Voluntary Isometric Capacity. Acupuncture also modified the Force Irradiation Mechanism in healthy individuals with a Hand Dynamometer contralateral to Isometric Wrist Flexion Activity at 70% of Maximum Voluntary Isometric Capacity.
