Interventions

Twenty patients will undergo extraction of the 4 third molars that will be treated as follows in a split-mouth model: Upper molars: Test side will be treated filled with hyaluronic acid gel and green

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Over 18 years of age; Have good oral hygiene (Plaque Index < 20%); Presence the four third molars; Have indication for tooth extraction of all third molars

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with periodontal disease; Patients with systemic diseases or conditions or who use medications that alter bone metabolism (except diabetics); Decompensated diabetics (glycated hemoglobin above 8%); Pregnant or lactating women; Heavy smokers (above 10 cigarettes a day); Presence of periapical lesions

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The use of the test gel will increase the fractal dimension and bone density in post extraction sockets after third molar extraction in 5% during the postoperative periods of 7, 30 and 90 days.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The test gel will reduce pain, swelling, bleeding and improve healing by 10% compared to the control gel after 3-7 days of the third molar extraction.
