Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Preterm newborns born at the Hospital de Clínicas of the Federal University of Paraná, admitted to the Neonatal ICU of the same institution, of both sexes, with chronological age from 7 days of life, who are without respiratory support
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Newborns with hemodynamic instability; requiring vasoactive drugs; contraindication for the use of the technique; chest drain; thrombocytopenia; pulmonary hemorrhage; pulmonary hypertension; immediate postoperative period of thoracic and abdominal surgery
