This is a cross-randomized clinical trial type study, to be carried out with 30 preterm newborns, who will be presented to the experimental and control care protocols on different days, where the expe
and the control group, not containing the thoracoabdominal support. Newborns will be distributed into groups through randomization generated by the random.org website, then they will be evaluated base

Age
7 Days to 10 Days

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm newborns born at the Hospital de Clínicas of the Federal University of Paraná, admitted to the Neonatal ICU of the same institution, of both sexes, with chronological age from 7 days of life, who are without respiratory support

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Newborns with hemodynamic instability; requiring vasoactive drugs; contraindication for the use of the technique; chest drain; thrombocytopenia; pulmonary hemorrhage; pulmonary hypertension; immediate postoperative period of thoracic and abdominal surgery

MeasureTime frame
Physiotherapeutic action in highly complex neonatal patients is very comprehensive, contributing in several ways to the development of babies.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Physiotherapy contributes to the improvement/stabilization of heart rate, respiratory rate, peripheral oxygen saturation, respiratory distress, pain, and sleep and wakefulness.;The ventilatory transfer technique promotes improvement in the diaphragmatic excursion and lung expansion of the newborn.
