Interventions

A randomized crossover clinical trial that aims to analyze the acute effect of resistance exercise with blood flow restriction on blood pressure and blood glucose in women with type II diabetes. A tot
(ii) Low load knee extension (20% of 1RM)
(iii) Knee extension with low load and blood flow restriction. The high load condition will consist of 3 sets of 10 repetitions, interspersed with 90 seconds of recovery, while the low load conditions

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female volunteers; age between 18 and 60 years; medical diagnosis of type II diabetes; not participating in systematic physical training programs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of insulin, metformin and beta blockers during the study period; Lesão osteomioarticular que impossibilite a realização das condições de exercício propostas.
