One aplication of transcutaneous electric stimulation in peripheral nerve lesion group for 1 hour after neurorraphy of digital nerves (n=16) compared with sham (n=16).

Age
18 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (over 18 years old), of both sexes, whose surgical procedure has been successful and has been performed within a maximum of two weeks after the injury will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with metal implants at the surgery site, who have a history of seizures, who have a cardiac pacemaker, have a local infection or skin lesion that prevents the application of surface electrodes will be excluded from the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of peripheral nerve regeneration of digital nerves in the hand measured using two-point discrimination tests and Semmes-Weinstein monofilaments

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of sensory functions and social participation of the individual submitted to neurorrhaphy of digital nerves of the hand measured through questionnaires.
