Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly individuals over 60 years of age; admitted to the medical clinic sector; classified as sedentary through the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ); both sexes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Classified with severe prior functional impairment through the Barthel Index (26-50 points); inability to ambulate

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maintenance or improvement of initial functional capacity is expected in patients undergoing the intervention compared to those who received only the hospital's usual care

Observe the presence of clinical factors associated with hospitalization, such as pressure ulcers, infections, venous thrombosis, prolonged hospital stays, acute kidney injury, myocardial infarction, stroke, acute hepatitis, and death
