Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgeries during the data collection period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with a nursing diagnosis, according to NANDA-International (NANDA-I) taxonomy, of Impaired Verbal Communication, defined as diminished, delayed or absent ability to receive, process, transmit and/or use a symbol system, will be excluded from this research. . This diagnosis has as main defining characteristics, partial or total visual deficit, disorientation in relation to people, time and space, difficulty in maintaining communication, using body and/or facial expressions, difficulty in understanding communication, difficulty in expressing thoughts verbally, difficulty speaking, forming words and/or phrases and inappropriate verbalization.
