Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: To be included in this study, participants must be over 40 years-old; medical diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis; pain for more than three months; have at least one of the following symptoms: limited range of motion, crepitus, difficulty/pain when going up and down stairs, walking, standing up or sitting in a chair
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the present study are history of knee surgery; presence of rheumatoid arthritis; initiation of opioid analgesia or intervention with corticosteroid injection or analgesic for knee pain within the last 30 days; inability to understand and complete study assessments or comply with study instructions; neurological diseases that could influence the investigated outcomes (e.g., stroke)
