Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: It was hoped to observe statistical differences in the levels of mental fatigue between the conditions (Social Networking and Documentary), assessed before and after the intervention, with the aim of verifying how each condition affects the participants' mental fatigue.;Outcome found 1: A statistical difference was observed in the levels of mental fatigue only in the Documentary condition, between the pre- and post-intervention moments, indicating a significant variation in the level of mental fatigue in this condition.;Expected outcome 2: It was expected that, when comparing specific performance in volleyball skills between the conditions (Social Media and Documentary), there would be no significant differences in the performance variables.;Outcome found 2: No statistical difference in specific performance in volleyball skills was observed between the conditions. However, in the control condition (Documentary), the average time to complete the task was below the ‘certainly significant change’ threshold.

Secondary

No secondary outcomes were expected.
