Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women; aged 18 years or older; without cognitive alterations and able to understand the Informed Consent Form (ICF); diagnosed with breast cancer; undergoing treatment; capable of physical exercises; with a medical certificate for physical activity

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with untreated/acute deep vein thrombosis; high fever; blood alterations (platelet/hemoglobin below reference); active bleeding; needing a walking aid; difficulty understanding instructions

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
An improvement in shoulder Range of Motion (ROM) (flexion, abduction, and lateral rotation) is expected, verified by universal goniometry, based on the observation of a statistically significant change (p=0.05) between pre- and post-intervention assessments.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in lymphedema of the upper limb ipsilateral to the surgery is expected, verified by perimetry (arm circumference measurement), based on the observation of a statistically significant reduction (p=0.05) in circumference between pre- and post-intervention assessments.
