Age
7 Years to 11 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children both genders aged 7-11 years whose parents or caregivers signed an informed consent form, reside in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and having overweight overweight or obese according to the criteria of the World Health Organization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with neurological disorders that interfere with learning, cognitive deficits eg Disorder Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; contraindications for physical activity group and using drugs that interfere with the body weight or lipid profile, such as statins, ritonavir, furosemide hidrocloritiazida, propranolol, nadolol, prednisolone among others.
