Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parents or guardians of babies; cared at Januário Cicco Maternity School; with or without risk indicators for hearing impairment; with or without newborn hearing screening; health professionals from study local; work during the day in the rooming-in or in the kangaroo unit; who agree to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to participate in the study; individuals under the age of 18; did not complete the questionnaires; professionals in the administrative sector; professionals who work exclusively at night

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a significant improvement in the knowledge of parents and professionals of the multidisciplinary team about hearing health through a video intervention administered at the time of neonatal hearing screening, based on the finding of a significant difference (5%) in knowledge about hearing health children in the pre- and post-intervention moments.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that video intervention administered at the time of neonatal hearing screening will reflect differently on the knowledge of parents and professionals of the multidisciplinary team about hearing health.
