The individuals will be divided into 2 groups: Control Group (CG) (n = 15) and Aquatic Physiotherapy Group GFA (n = 15). The intervention for both will be individualized, for a period of 8 weeks, twi

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteer adults; aged 18 to 60 years; with unilateral lower limb amputation; transtibial or transfemoral; both genders; who are able to follow verbal commands; clinically stable

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neurological disorders; circulatory disorders; uncontrolled diabetes; patients on psychiatric medication; patients with infectious; contagious dermatological lesions; BMI = 30

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assessing postural balance through the Center of Pressure (CoP). The total displacement, surface, mean velocity and weight bearing percentage between forefoot and rearfoot.;Assessing postural balance through the adapted berg balance scale. The final escore will be compared between groups at the end of the interventions.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluating functionality through the Functional Independence Measure. The final escore will be compared between groups at the end of the interventions.;Assessing pain through the Functional Pain Scale. The escore will be compared between groups at the end of the interventions.
