Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: woman; aged between 18 and 40 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Body mass index equal or greater than 30 kg/m2; to be in the menstrual period; to have contraindications for physical activity; to be undergoing any kind of anxiolytic treatment; to be illiterate

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a reduction in the participants' state-anxiety levels, which will be assessed by the State – Trait Anxiety Inventory.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a similar average heart rate between exergames and traditional continuous exercise sessions, assessed by a heart rate monitor. ;It is expected to find a lower rating of perceived exertion after exergame session, assessed by the Borg scale 6-20.;It is expected that exergame session will be more enjoyable than traditional continuous exercise session, which will be assessed by the Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale.;It is expected that exergame session will provide greater affective valence than traditional continuous exercise session, which will be assesses by the Hardy and Rejeski scale.;It is expected that the participants' food intake will be similar between the exergame and traditional continuous exercise sessions, which will be assessed by a 24-hour food record before the interventions.
