Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected Reduction of five percent of the body imbalances in the fallers group submitted to the Functional training and counseling about falls interventions, measured by oscillation area of the center of pressure (COP) in the one-foot position, analized by a force platform EMGSYSTEM, on post-intervention, becoming them less vulnerable to fall; ;Expected reduction of five porcent of the time in seconds in the Timed up and go test of the fallers group submitted to the functional training and counseling about falls interventions, in the post-intervention; | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected reduction of five porcent of the fear of falling score, measured by the Falls Efficacy Scale – International (FES-I) questionnaire in the fallers group, submitted to the functional training and counseling about falls interventions, in the post-intervention. ;Expected increase of five porcent of the Quality of life score, measured by WhoQol-old questionnaire in the fallers group submitted to the functional training and counseling about falls interventions, in the post-intervention; ;Expected reduction of five porcent of fall risk in the fallers group submitted to the functional training and counseling about falls interventions, measured by the percentile of Quick Screen form, in the post-intervention; | — |
