Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patientes of both sexes; aged over 18; with similar dental impaction; absence of systemic diseases or locoregional changes; without contraindication to the use of dexamethasone, paracetamol, codeine phosphate or oxycodone; absence of a history of hypersensitivity to mepivacaine.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find that the dosage of 30mg of codeine phosphate in association with 500mg of paracetamol has highter analgesic efficacy than the dosage of 10mg of oxycodone after impacted lower third molar extractions.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find that the dosage of 30mg of codeine phosphate in combination with 500mg of acetaminophen is expected to have fewer side effects than a 10mg dosage of oxycodone after impacted lower third molar extractions.
