A total of 44 patients will take part in this study, will be screened by two experienced and calibrated implant dentists. A control random sequence will be generated using software (Random Allocation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consent to take part in the study; kennedy class I or II, with 02 missing teeth in the posterior mandible; adequate systemic condition, with the consent of the medical team; sufficient bone condition for the installation of conventional dental implants

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of systemic co-morbidity considered to be a risk factor and/or altering the normal course of treatment; kennedy class III and IV patients; any absence of an anterior dental element; absence of more than two posterior dental elements in the same quadrant; bone defects that require prior reconstruction before the installation of implants; the presence of bone defects that require regenerative or reconstructive approaches simultaneously with implant installation; failure to follow any pre-surgical recommendations
