Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: Higher correctness means of the FRAQ-Brasil questionnaire, after 30 days, by the elderly who watched the video when compared to the elderly who participated in the verbal nursing guidelines. For intergroup comparison of numerical variables, Student's t test for independent samples was used. Effect size was verified by Cohen's d. ;Outcome found 1: 30 days after the interventions, the control group had a higher average of correct answers for the FRAQ-Brasil questions than the intervention group, with a statistically significant difference. However, the effect size was small.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 2: Higher percentage of correct answers in each item of the FRAQ-Brazil questionnaire, after 30 days, by the elderly who watched the video when compared to the elderly who participated in the verbal nursing guidelines. The Chi-square test for proportion and Fisher's exact test were used.;Outcome found 2: 30 days after the interventions, the percentage of correct answers was similar between the groups in 29 items and different, with statistically significant, in only 3 items, with higher correct answers in the control group.
