Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
An increase in interoceptive capacity is expected after the Yoga session compared with the control session, verified by means of the Heartbeat Detection Task (HDT) and the Heartbeat-Evoked Potential (HEP), based on the observation of a significant increase in interoceptive accuracy on the HDT and an increase in HEP amplitude in the post-intervention period relative to the pre-intervention period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in state anxiety is expected after the Yoga session compared with the control session, verified by means of the State–Trait Anxiety Inventory — state form (STAI-S), based on the observation of a decrease in scores in the post-intervention period relative to the pre-intervention period.;An increase in positive affect and perceived arousal is expected after the Yoga session compared with the control session, verified by means of the Feeling Scale and the Felt Arousal Scale, based on the observation of an increase in scores in the post-intervention period relative to the pre-intervention period.;An increase in internal attentional focus is expected after the Yoga session compared with the control session, verified by means of the Tammens Attentional Focus Scale, based on the observation of a reduction in scale values (indicating greater internal focus) in the post-intervention period relative to the pre-intervention period.
