Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes; between 60 and 75 years old; with a clinical diagnosis of bilateral sensorineural hearing loss; who must first submit the Free and Informed Consent Form (FICF)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients after ear surgery and those who continuously use high-risk ototoxic medications, such as chemotherapy (cisplatin subclass) and cardiovascular drugs (diuretic subclass) or drugs in the 72 hours prior to the exam, as they may alter auditory physiological conditions; patients with malignant necrotizing external otitis and benign and malignant tumor pathologies of the ear; with fistulas and/or auricular cysts; patients with cerumen plug; patients with complaints of tinnitus; patients who are undergoing previous osteopathic treatment or who have a diagnosis or suspicion of any acute or chronic condition that limits their ability to participate in the study; those who have consumed stimulant beverages in the 24 hours prior to the evaluation; those with acute pain in the last 72 hours; who have consumed alcohol in the last 48 hours; and those who have not performed acoustic rest for 14 hours prior to the audiometry exams

| To evaluate the effectiveness of cranial osteopathic techniques in patients with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, by observing the physiological effects related to improved vascularization and reorganization of the myofascial tone reflex. The verification will be performed through clinical analysis of the auditory and neurological response of patients after osteopathic interventions. It will be observed whether there is a reduction in pathogenic nerve sensitivity and consequent neurophysiological normalization, measurable by clinical and audiological parameters pre and post-treatment | — |

| To assess the quality of life of patients with hearing loss using a specific questionnaire on perception of hearing improvement, applied before and after osteopathic treatment. In addition, we hope to verify the effects of cranial techniques on sensorineural hearing loss through audiometric tests.
