Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals of both sexes, age = 60 years, with Heart Failure diagnosed by echocardiography (left ventricular ejection fraction <50%) undergoing treatment with optimized medication who are not experiencing exacerbations of the disease and are not participating in a cardiac rehabilitation program

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of decompensated Heart Failure; uncontrolled systemic arterial hypertension and pulmonary hypertension; use of pacemaker; use of home oxygen therapy; concomitant respiratory diseases; neurological; sensory or orthopedic alterations that prevent the proposed assessments from being carried out

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The electrostimulation group is expected to show an improvement in functional performance, in terms of the number of steps climbed in the 2-minute step test

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The electrostimulation group is expected to present greater blood flow and muscle oxygenation in both acute and chronic effects
